Family friendly fun at New Junction

New Junction has been abuzz with activity in 2021, with the LoCale event space playing host to a series of Friday night events over the last few months.

The next event in the series is the iconic Shopping Cart Gymkhana, where local schools and community groups will decorate shopping carts and race them around a purpose- built obstacle course to the music of Cale Street's favourite comedy pirate band, Rumskull! Rescheduled following COVID-19 restrictions, the event will now be held on Friday, May 7.

Take your pick of eateries along Cale Street, settle in and enjoy the wackiest race you've ever seen. The event kicks off at 6pm. More information on the Facebook event.
