Irish Ceilidh a Success

Fridays at LoCale continue. The latest event, an Irish Ceilidh, was held on February 18. It was a lovely warm night, with a gentle breeze.

So what is a Cleilidh? It is a social event with Scottish or Irish folk music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling.

And it was all of that and more. There were a range of events for all family members, from make your own craft, food, music and dancing for all ages.

A big thanks to the organisers at Midland Junction Arts Centre and the participants for a great evening!

Harmony Week, planned for 18 march, has been deferred until event rules are relaxed.
