Fridays at the LoCale: Art In The Park

Friday 5 March 2021 saw the first of seven Friday night activations at LoCale – part of the New Junction Activation.

Run by the Midland Junction Collective and Upbeat Events, the series of events aims to get people out and about enjoying Midland.

For the first event, participants were invited to step into the shoes of a famous artist and draw a scene from a famous painting, recreated with a live model and an interactive set.

The evening was a success, with many people showing their artistic side and enjoying the opportunity to create – despite the threat of rain!
