Have Your Say: Midland Oval Redevelopment Masterplan – Business Plan

The City of Swan Council recently endorsed the Midland Oval Redevelopment Precinct Business Plan for public comment and we’re seeking your input.
The Midland Oval Redevelopment Precinct - now known as ‘New Junction’ - relates to land located between Morrison Road, Keane Street, Sayer Street and The Crescent in Midland. The project is based on the Midland Oval Redevelopment Masterplan (MORM), which outlines the layout of New Junction including public open space, a road network and the desired land use and built form.
The business plan informs the City of Swan’s financial involvement in the development and outlines major land transactions (disposal and acquisitions). Four development scenarios are included with the Business Plan, outlining options for development, holding or selling land parcels to achieve the Masterplan.

Submissions received during this public consultation phase will be considered by the Council at a future Council meeting. All submissions received by 31 August 2018 will be considered by Council.
