Celebrate Cassius's life at the unveiling of the Cassius Turvey Memorial at Weeip Park.

It will be a space where young people can gather to remember Cassius and reflect on the impact he had on the community.

Cassius’s favourite day was Halloween, a day of creativity, community and coming together. Please come dressed in your best Halloween costume or wear something that reminds you of Cassius.

The memorial has been created by the City of Swan and the Turvey family. It features 15 values that Cassius embodied during his 15 years.

Cassius’s mother, Mechelle Turvey, who has inspired people around the world with her strength and compassion, will speak at the unveiling.

Please join us between 4 and 6pm on Tuesday, October 31 at Weeip Park, Junction Parade, Midland.

After the unveiling, enjoy refreshments, music and the company of your community.
