Midland Closing The Gap Day – Thursday 16th March

Join us between 9.30am and 11.30 to held celebrate Closing the Gap - acknowledging the ongoing strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in sustaining the world’s oldest living cultures.

Closing the Gap acknowledges the ongoing strength, resilience and growth of Aboriginal and Torres State Islander people. 

The City invites people of all ages to connect with organisations that can support the needs in health care and reduce the gap in life expectancy between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

The day is filled with free activities for the whole family, including Rockin Bops – singing and dancing for pre-schoolers, women’s corner, drumming circle, face painting, bracelet weaving and more.
